For my first post on Cooking Light’s blog, Simmer and Boil, I made and photographed homemade almond milk. I loved every part of the process, and being able to share with Cooking Light readers how simple it is to make (and how healthy the end product is!) is incredibly exciting. Although almond “milk” seems like a strange concept — a creamy liquid can come from almonds?! — it really does work and tastes much better than store-bought almond milk.
